Winners of the Half Marathon Race of Dushanbe

The 10th Half Marathon Race of Dushanbe held at the stunning metropolitan city of Tajikistan, Dushanbe in honor of Day of Capital.

More than 100 professional runners from Tajikistan and 36 athletes from overseas’ countries took part in the international tournament.  As usual, the half marathon race had conducted at the distance 21.97 km. on the running track from the start which was in Dusti square until finish nearby Ismail Somoni monument.
Fenti Tilakhan from Ethiopia dominated the title of the 10th Half Marathon Race of Dushanbe 1:06:36 among men, Ukhimchuk Michela from Ukraine snatched the second place 1:06:58, Michael Qosimov from Kazakhstan took the third place with the result of 1:10:01, Zhoodar Kochkonbaev from Kyrgyzstan fourth place, Mayna Samuel from Kenya fifth place, and Andrei Petrov from Uzbekistan sixth place.
Darya Maslova from Kyrgyzstan won her second victory 1:14:45 among women. She attended the 9th Half Marathon Race of Dushanbe last year. Guangul Khirut from Ethiopia snatched the second place 1:16:51, Sitora Homidova from Uzbekistan took the third place 1:18:29, and Nazarova Mehrangez from Tajikistan won the fifth-place 1:30:14.
Please, note that the first Half Marathon Race of Dushanbe had been conducted in 2010 at distance 22 km with the participation of runners from 14 sister cities and it listed in the marathon table of IAAF in 2014.
